Cold War Steve - 'Sheffield - It's Alright' print!

Cold War Steve was our artist in residence at Get Together 2025 and commissioned to create this artwork to celebrate the city. It was unveiled at the festival on Saturday 17 May 2025.

Cold War Steve asked the public to suggest who and what inspires them about Sheffield. After an almighty response from the public and a visit to the city for himself, the final piece of art was created.

'Sheffield - It's alright' features iconic landmarks from across the city and famous names from the realms of music, television, sport and history. The work also shone a spotlight on locals such as the director of 'Dig Where You Stand', Desiree Reynolds, the artist development community Slambarz, and the local all-female identifying choir Neighbourhood Voices.

A limited run were sold on the day and a handful of the remaining prints are now available on our shop!
